A little bit about us...

We started as a group of friends that would get together and ride after work and on the weekends. As more people joined our group, we began to wonder if we could use our passion for riding not only as a social activity, but as a way to serve our community. To that end, we began searching for an existing organization that we could join. We contacted several Motorcycle and Riding Clubs and while all of them were great, none of them fit our needs exactly. After much discussion, we decided to form our own Riding Club and the Tempest Riders came to be.

Our club has no mandatory meetings or runs. Of course, we prefer that our members be active in the club but our priorities are Family, Career and Club in that order. Our goal is to ride as much as we can and to help others, but our families and careers come first.

Although most of our current membership are in law enforcement and/or veterans, we are not a Law Enforcement or Veterans Club. We do strongly support Public Safety and Veteran's causes and this is one of our core values as a club. We are open to everyone and our eligibility requirements for membership are minimal.
